ISO refers to the International Organization for Standardization. This Organization provides standards of quality, Effectiveness of products, safety process of making a product, and services provided by companies. It is necessary to provide high-quality goods and services to sustain in the market.in this article, we discuss how to get the ISO certification in India.

To get an ISO Certification in India first we have to choose the type of ISO Certification Which we need for our Organization.

There are Various type of ISO Certification

  • ISO 9001 2008 – Quality Management
  • ISO 14001– Environmental Management
  • ISO 27001– Information security Management
  • ISO 22008 – Food Safety Management.

From these types, we have to select which certification do we need. after that we have to choose an ISO Certification Body, The ISO: International Organization for Standardization is does not provide the certification itself the process of certification is done by a third-party company, so it is very important to select a Recognized and precious company to get an ISO Certificate.

You should keep the following things in your mind while choosing an ISO Registrar.

  • Get Information about various companies and evaluate those that provide ISO certification in India.
  • You should also check that companies are following the CASCO (Committee on Conformity Assessment (CASCO) – ISO) standards that work on issues relating to conformity assessment.

Process for ISO Certification In India

  1. Make an Application or Contract

The Candidate and the Registrar should sign a contract for the rights and responsibilities of both applicant and registrar and include the confidentiality and access to rights.

  1. Examine the quality of the Document.

The ISO will confirm all documents and different types of policies and procedures that followed in the organization. It also checks the Quality of the product.

  1. Create an Action Plan

You have to do some changes in your organization, you have to train your workers to work skillfully while following the new procedure, you have to spread awareness about the ISO Standard to do the standard quality work.

  1. Initial certification survey.

The Initial survey is divided into two parts that are

Stage 1:  The ISO Examiner examines the changes created by you in your company after they will try to get some minor and major errors in your company management and they will do some modification.

The applicant must be evaluated their Organization and if any inaccuracy in their organization they have to find it and solve it using the techniques and processes.

Stage 2:  After creating all mandatory changes in their organization, the IOS examiner does the final inspection.

the examiner checks the improvement after the applied technique and processes then the ISO examiner checks the quality of the organization and fulfills or not all the ISO Standards, If the Examiner satisfied, the examiner sends the final report to the registrar.

  1. Finalized the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Certification in India.

After solving all issues, the ISO creates the audit Report and submits it to the Registrar, and Registrar issues the ISO certification.

  1. Monitoring the Audit

It basically ensures that the ISO quality standard maintains by the organization or not, they are monitoring from time to time.
